How the Extrusion Process Works
PVC compound is fed into the hopper and conveyed through the heated barrel by the rotating screw, where it’s progressively melted and homogenized under controlled temperature and pressure. The molten material is then forced through a precision die that shapes it into pipe form, before passing through a vacuum sizing tank for calibration and cooling, a haul-off unit for controlled traction, and finally a cutting unit to length. Each stage is coordinated through the PLC control system to maintain consistent wall thickness and dimensional accuracy throughout the run.
