Turn scrap into reusable material

The PE series grinds runners, rejects and scrap from extrusion and moulding lines into smaller pieces. The ground material can go back into reprocessing, or on to washing and drying if it is contaminated.

Choosing a PE model

  • Match the output range in the table to your hourly scrap volume, and pick the model whose range sits above it, so the machine is not running at its limit.
  • PE-18, PE-20 and PE-22 have 6 rotary and 2 fixed blades. PE-24, PE-30 and PE-32 have 6 rotary and 4 fixed blades.
  • The hopper size is listed for each model. Check it against the size of the pieces you feed.
  • Motor power runs from 20 HP (PE-18) to 50 HP (PE-32). Confirm it against your plant’s power supply.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose between models?

Start with your hourly scrap volume and the largest piece you need to feed, then compare them with the output and hopper columns above. If you are between two models, send us your material and we will recommend one.

What do the blade numbers 6/2 and 6/4 mean?

The first number is rotary blades and the second is fixed blades.

Can the grinder be fitted into an existing line?

Send us a photo and a short description of your line and we will tell you how it can be connected.
